LARGEMOUTH COMMUNICATIONS WINS GOLD AT THE RALEIGH PUBLIC RELATIONS SOCIETY AWARDS

Largemouth Communications, a full-service public relations firm based in Raleigh-Durham, won two gold 2018 Sir Walter Raleigh Awards for Excellence in Communication from the Raleigh Public Relations Society (RPRS). Each year, the RPRS recognizes and honors all practitioners who have achieved excellence in the communications field.

“This recognition from respected industry peers validates our team’s creativity, collaboration, passion and continued growth,” said Brandon Bryce, president and CEO, Largemouth Communications. “We’re grateful to our clients for their trust and partnership as we execute unique campaigns and tactics that ‘move the needle’ and help them achieve their business goals.”

The winning campaigns include:

“Ascom Breaks Through the Noise at HiMSS”
Received a Gold Award in the Special Events (One to Five Days) category

With rapid attendee and vendor growth year-over-year, the HiMSS Annual Conference & Exhibition brings together 45,000+ professionals from around the world for five days of education, innovation and collaboration to help uncover the promise of health information and technology. HiMSS also gives healthcare information technology (IT) companies from around the world a platform to announce new products. Understanding this unique opportunity, Largemouth and client Ascom executed a comprehensive marketing, PR and social media campaign that leveraged new product launches and a compelling customer case study to break through a highly competitive trade media news cycle.

“Mike Holmes Talks Electrical Safety with Eaton”
Received a Gold Award in the Videos - Streaming category

When HGTV stars and professional contractors Mike Holmes, Mike Holmes, Jr. and Sherry Holmes RSVP’d “yes” to the International Builders’ Show (IBS) in January 2018, Largemouth recognized an opportunity for its client Eaton, a power management company and electrical manufacturer, to tap into their strong fan bases – both in-person and online. By inviting Holmes’ social followers to submit questions in advance of a live-streamed interview at Eaton’s booth, and cross-promoting the livestream with the Holmes team, Largemouth hooked fans early on and encouraged them to return for the live broadcast on Eaton’s Facebook page.

Largemouth and fellow recipient organizations were recognized at RPRS’s 2018 Awards Banquet on Tuesday, October 23 at the Jiddi Space & Courtyard at Sitti restaurant, located at 137 S. Wilmington Street, Raleigh, NC 27607. Follow the award program hashtag #RPRSAwards on social channels to see photos of the ceremony.
