LARGEMOUTH LATEST: SPRING 2023 EDITION

Periodically, we like to take a step back and recap some of our client communications results in action, proud moments and helpful resources for PR and marketing pros. Want to keep up with what's happening at Largemouth? Subscribe to our agency newsletter.

MASTER THE MEDIA INTERVIEW

We recently helped our client in the utility industry become more media-savvy by conducting a media training workshop. The session covered the state of the media, conventional and modern-day reporting methods, interview tips and situational mock interviews for in-person and virtual settings. These types of trainings give participants hands-on experience handling a variety of interview scenarios to ensure they're well-prepared to convey priority messages when opportunities arise.

SHAKING UP THE BAR SCENE

Collaborations create community, and this spring we worked with Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club and JB Duke Hotel to serve up the “Be Our Guest Bartender Series.” This seasonal program invited talented, local mixologists to showcase their skills and create an innovative cocktail experience for guests at the premier Durham hotel properties. We helped get people talking about the unique series by securing coverage with Raleigh Magazine, Midtown Magazine’s Talk of the Triangle, Spectrum News, as well as coordinating visits from engaging local influencers and media, such Durham Magazine and @cravingcarolina. Cheers!

PUTTING THE NEW IN NEWSLETTER

We were excited to work as editorial directors on the first edition newsletter for our client Stewart, an interdisciplinary design, engineering and planning firm serving the Carolinas. The new, quarterly newsletter gives internal and external audiences a deeper look into the company’s unique projects, people and purpose. For the spring issue, we explored the theme of ‘Reimagining Existing Spaces,’ including the growing movement to repurpose unconventional or historic structures.

A POWERFUL PERSPECTIVE

The process of looking back can help companies move forward in enhancing important strategies. That was the motivation for our team’s collaboration with Eaton to help spread the word with key business audiences about the importance of reliable backup power. Leveraging Eaton’s research into some of the most significant power outages from 2022, we secured and developed contributed thought leadership articles with a number of national trade publications, including Disaster Recovery Journal, Industry Today, Facilities Manager and Mission Critical magazine.

TAKING THE ADVENTURE NATIONWIDE

OC Aerial, the Triangle’s first all-in-one, indoor adventure park, recently hosted a major film crew onsite. Our team helped secure and coordinate a special feature with a national television network to give viewers across the country a closer look at the park’s unique attractions and family-oriented origins. While our lips are sealed on specifics for now, stay tuned for more details on the segment and its upcoming air date – sports lovers and adventure seekers will be in for a treat!
