Largemouth Communications Wins Awards for Excellence in Communication from RPRS

Largemouth Communications, a full-service public relations firm based in Raleigh-Durham, won five silver 2019 Sir Walter Raleigh Awards for Excellence in Communication from the Raleigh Public Relations Society (RPRS). Each year, the RPRS recognizes and honors all practitioners who have achieved excellence in the communications field.

“From integrated communications and media events to multimedia streaming, the variety of projects that Largemouth received recognition for from respected industry peers really underscores our team’s creativity and passion,” said Brandon Bryce, president and CEO, Largemouth Communications. “Clients continue to partner with us to elevate their businesses with unique ideas and programs, and we are grateful for their trust and collaboration.”

The winning campaigns include:

“Ascom Breaks Through the Noise at HiMSS”
Received a Silver Award in the Integrated Communications category

With rapid attendee and vendor growth year-over-year, the HiMSS Annual Conference brings together 45,000 professionals from around the world for five days of education, innovation and collaboration to help uncover the promise of health information and technology. To raise Ascom’s profile at the conference and drive foot traffic to the Ascom booth, Largemouth executed a comprehensive PR and social media campaign that leveraged product launches, expert videos and a unique FitBit challenge to generate excitement and drive meaningful conversations.

“Stewart Takes The Dillon”
Received a Silver Award in the Media Event category

Stewart, an interdisciplinary design, engineering and planning firm, relocated its headquarters to The Dillon, a trendy 18-story high-rise in the rapidly expanding and vibrant Warehouse District in downtown Raleigh. The new headquarters was not only a statement about the firm’s pioneering culture and commitment to the revitalization of Raleigh and beyond, but also featured their interdisciplinary work in the planning and design of the landmark building. Tasked with developing a grand opening strategy that would showcase Stewart in both the local community and the local trade industry, Largemouth knew the best way to achieve that goal would be to let the building and the company’s leadership do the talking.

How can you top a successful 2018 social media campaign that included a celebrity contractor at the largest annual construction show in the world? Make it even bigger, better and more engaging in 2019! When HGTV stars and professional contractors Mike Holmes, Mike Holmes Jr. and Sherry Holmes visited Eaton’s booth at the 2019 International Builders’ Show, Largemouth knew this was an opportunity to engage with their vast social media following, drive foot traffic to the booth and break through the conference noise. Largemouth executed a social media livestream and survey that hooked followers and encouraged them to tune in live.
