LARGEMOUTH WINS MOST CREATIVE LOCAL MARKETING CAMPAIGN FOR STEWART’S MOVE TO THE DILLON

Largemouth Communications, a full-service public relations firm based in Raleigh-Durham, was recognized for the most creative local marketing campaign at the 2019 Triangle Commercial Real Estate Women (TCREW) Champion Awards for its work with Stewart, a design, engineering and planning firm. The awards are held annually to recognize the successful real estate projects and individuals that make the Triangle area such a dynamic place to live and do business.

The award recognizes Largemouth Communications’ strategic public relations campaign surrounding the headquarters relocation of Stewart to The Dillon, the first mixed-use development of its kind in the downtown’s rapidly expanding vibrant Warehouse District.

“Recognition from this respected industry organization among so many talented architecture, construction and engineering professionals speaks volumes to our team’s creativity and collaboration with our clients,” said Kelly Propst, vice president, Largemouth Communications. “As a proud member of the Triangle, we’re honored to play a role in raising the profile of our community and grateful for our clients like Stewart, whose trust and partnership allow us to execute award-winning campaigns that achieve their business goals.”

Bigger than the firm’s move, the story was about the spirit and culture of both Stewart and Raleigh. It was about honoring smart growth while cherishing the past. When Stewart committed to move into The Dillon, its rehabilitation and the surrounding district was just an idea with a lot of hope behind it. A lot of hard work went into the area, including work by Stewart. It is no coincidence that the rehabilitation of this area moved forward from a vision for Raleigh’s future and pride in Raleigh’s past.

The strategic public relations campaign, comprised in part by media events, local industry group tours and a social / digital campaign, successfully drew attention to Stewart’s pioneering culture and showcased the firm’s unique interdisciplinary collaboration throughout local Triangle area media and national trade media outlets.

Largemouth and fellow recipient organizations were recognized at TCREW’s Champion Awards Luncheon on Friday, April 26 at the Embassy Suites in Cary. TCREW is a catalyst of opportunity, visibility and influence for women in the Triangle commercial real estate community.

Kelly recently traded in her suit case for a diaper bag, but she still has plans to check Spain, Iceland and Italy off her globetrotting bucket list. In the meantime, she regularly receives wine club shipments (at the office). Thanks to her adventurous palate, she is also the designated taste-tester for her husband’s delicious kitchen creations and loves keeping tabs on what’s hot in the restaurant scene. Barbecued pigtails, anyone?
