Largemouth Announces Slate of New Clients, All Based in North Carolina

DURHAM, N.C. (October 6, 2016) – Largemouth Communications, a full-service public relations firm, added eight new clients to its roster in recent months, each representing cities spanning across the agency’s home state of North Carolina.

“We have worked with a number of business-to-business and consumer brands with a local, regional and national presence, and were eager to apply our talents and form partnerships with businesses based even closer to home,” said Brandon Bryce, president and CEO, Largemouth Communications. “In its simplest form, our goal is to do great work and develop new relationships with organizations where we live, work and play. The new accounts we’ve acquired in recent months are a reflection of that effort, and we look forward to continuing it.”

Most recently, Raleigh-based BeeWell, a healthcare technology company founded by physicians and healthcare professionals to enhance the connection between providers and their patients, selected Largemouth to guide communications strategies, develop infographic content and conduct media outreach to maximize its presence at ObesityWeek in New Orleans.

Relias Learning, based in Cary, is devoted to offering online training, care and services to the intellectual and developmentally disabled members of society. With the help of Largemouth, Relias Learning has benefitted from strategic counseling, media relations and internal communications, while also improving its social media following.

Another new client headquartered in Wilson is S.T. Wooten Corporation, a company offering total-package construction services along with ready mix concrete and asphalt materials and specializes in heavy highway, design-build and commercial site work. S.T. Wooten has worked with notable brands across eastern and central North Carolina for the past 60 years. Largemouth established and will maintain a social media presence from the ground-up, as well as focusing on trade media relations programming.

Located in Selma, Sysco Raleigh, a regional division of one of the largest food distributors in the nation, has partnered with Largemouth to ensure its social media efforts are an extension of their mission to deliver “great products with exceptional services.” Largemouth is assisting in building a quality follower base as Sysco Raleigh hosts its 10th anniversary celebration and food show this month.

In addition, due to its work with the Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club in Durham, Largemouth is proud to introduce the new sister property also located on Duke University’s campus, the JB Duke Hotel. Largemouth has already built awareness for the property among hospitality and travel media, as well as local consumers, with earned media coverage garnering more than 8.7 million media impressions. Largemouth will continue its media relations strategy for both properties with local, national and trade media upon its grand opening in early 2017 and beyond.

Triangle Town Center, the largest shopping destination in North Carolina’s Triangle area, selected Largemouth to develop creative community engagement campaigns and manage media relations within the market to drive local visibility. For Triangle Town Center’s summer event series, Creekside Wind Down, Largemouth’s efforts garnered more than 64 million overall media impressions during the four-month series.

The Independence Fund, a Charlotte-based nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering wounded veterans and their caregivers, commissioned Largemouth earlier this year to assist in the shift from a volunteer-run organization to a full-time dedicated staff. From developing a messaging framework and conducting communications training with employees, to providing full-scale social media management across channels and conducting local and national media relations, Largemouth is proud to drive visibility and engagement on behalf of an organization dedicated to supporting our military and their families.

The North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (NCBOESLPA), located in Greensboro, tapped Largemouth to tell the stories of North Carolina’s licensed professionals and the impact their expertise has on patients young and old. Largemouth is implementing a media relations and advertising campaign to support the board’s mission of ensuring the safety of and educating the public about qualified speech and language pathologists and audiologists, while placing emphasis on the importance of licensing in the state of North Carolina.

Kelly recently traded in her suit case for a diaper bag, but she still has plans to check Spain, Iceland and Italy off her globetrotting bucket list. In the meantime, she regularly receives wine club shipments (at the office). Thanks to her adventurous palate, she is also the designated taste-tester for her husband’s delicious kitchen creations and loves keeping tabs on what’s hot in the restaurant scene. Barbecued pigtails, anyone?
